Late-night cake cravings will go unsatisfied no longer.

After months of anticipation, the popular local bakery Shyndigz has opened its "24/7 dessert vending machine," located outside its location at 1912 W. Cary St.

On a Thursday morning visit, the machine was stocked with slices of cake, oatmeal creme pies, assorted pies and beverages.

Shyndigz first applied for a permit to build the structure last November, though Axios reported there were also delays in getting the equipment delivered.

In an Instagram post announcing the opening, Shyndigz said that floral arrangements will also be available from the refrigerated vending machine.

"We appreciate everyone’s patience through the months as we’ve troubleshooted this project," owners wrote. "and we’re so excited to fully offer it to you all now."
