RPS cancels all after-school activities Monday due to 'insufficient personnel'

Richmond Public Schools sent out an announcement Monday that all after-school activities for middle and high school students have been canceled "due to insufficient personnel."

"Students who normally ride the bus should plan to take their regular bus home after school, and all other students should follow their normal after school transportation plan," the message read.

The cancellations extended to athletic events and after-school programming.

RPS sent the message at 2:41 p.m. on Monday.
