The Richmonder is starting its first awards program, but we're doing it our way.

Introducing 25 in '25, a series spotlighting the people who are inspiring us by doing good and bringing joy to our communities.

This isn't a list of Richmond's most powerful people. This is about sharing good news, and the humanity that connects us.

We want to tell the stories of Richmonders who make this a great place to live, whether it's through volunteer service, leadership, innovation or just brightening the day of those around them.

It's the barista from your local coffee shop who remembers everyone's name and order.
It's a neighbor who serves as a connection point.
And it's the business owners who do things the right way.

We need your assistance as we assemble our inaugural class. A committee will select 25 winners from submitted nominations, who will be profiled in The Richmonder and honored at an event this fall.

Who makes you proud to be a Richmonder?

Honorees must live and work in the metro Richmond area.
