Chesterfield’s own Li’l Sebastian? Miniature horse has returned home
Fans of the TV show “Parks and Recreation” are familiar with the ill-fated miniature horse, Li’l Sebastian. Well, Chesterfield now has its own tiny equine celebrity, and it was roaming the streets Wednesday afternoon.
Around 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Chesterfield County Animal Services Facebook page posted about a lost miniature horse trotting around Elkhardt Road and Parkway Lane. The original Facebook post asked users to provide any information to help return the horse home.
The comments are a mix of pointers, including the locations of nearby farms, as well as compliments, with some dubbing the lost pony “chunky baby.”
After spending a day in a Chesterfield animal shelter, the horse's owners retrieved it Thursday evening.
