The Richmonder is proud to welcome our newest reporter, Eleanor Shaw, who will report on government, education and human-interest stories in Chesterfield County.

Eleanor, as well as other Richmonder staff, will be on the road in Chesterfield this month meeting readers and asking what you'd like us to cover in the county. We'll have Richmonder swag on hand at each stop!

• Wednesday, August 12, 2-3:30 p.m.: Perk! Coffee, 2620 Buford Road
• Tuesday, August 18, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.: King's Korner, 7511 Airfield Drive
• Wednesday, August 26, 5-7 p.m.: Independence Golf Club, 600 Founders Bridge Boulevard

Eleanor's salary is being covered in part by a generous matching grant from Report for America. You can still make a one-time donation towards the matching grant, allowing The Richmonder to continue its local reporting.
