Richmond's Department of Public Utilities said on Thursday morning that about 100 customers in Richmond's Stratford Hills neighborhood have been without water since late Wednesday afternoon due to a water main break.

The issue, in Stratford Hills near Chippenham Parkway, led to Southampton Elementary canceling classes on Thursday.

A DPU spokesperson said that work will continue through the morning to fix the issue, with the hopes of repairing it within the next few hours.
