Several roads will close Saturday morning for the Richmond Marathon
This year's edition of the Richmond Marathon, and its companion half-marathon and 8K races, are sold out and will have capacity crowds of runners traversing the city on Saturday.
For residents, that means closures across the city on a rolling basis. Some will end by 9 a.m., with most closures ending by noon. Other restrictions, including some no parking areas, will be in place until 5 p.m.
Broad Street will be closed from Arthur Ashe Boulevard to N. 10th street until 10 a.m., and Hermitage Road will be closed northbound between Laburnum and Pope Ave. until 1 p.m.
