Longtime Richmond Fed chair will moderate special Forum discussion

The Richmond Forum will be offering a special program, with tickets open to the public, centering around the risk of another financial collapse, and lessons from past recessions.
Author and television personality Andrew Ross Sorkin will present on his new book, “1929: The Inside Story of the Greatest Crash in Wall Street History,” on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the Altria Theater.
The Forum announced late last week that Jeffrey M. Lacker, former president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, will moderate the audience Q&A portion of the program.
Tickets start at $40 and can be purchased through the Forum.
The special program, outside of the Forum's traditional programming, will support the Richmond Forum Speech & Debate Initiative.
