Data: See how each Richmond public school did on this year's SOL testing
The Virginia Standards of Learning test results for the 2024-2025 school year were released in September, giving insight on how well students are performing relative to their statewide peers.
Richmond Public Schools students progressed in nearly all subjects during the previous academic year. Students were the most proficient in reading, as over half of the division performed well in that exam, followed by math, science and history.
Progress has been particularly steady since the 2022-2023 school year. For example, RPS students have had a 13% increase in pass rates on the science test since then. Reading and social studies tests have shown 6% increases, and math had a 5% increase.
