***Expanding Freedom: Economic Mobility and Its Impact on Civic Engagement***

Join us as we take a hard look at the city's progress in creating economic opportunities for all.

**Format:** The event will feature the opportunity to tour the brand-new exhibit, *Expanding Freedom*, followed by a short speaker program, concluding with audience engagement, discussion and socializing.

**Confirmed Speakers:** Marland Buckner, President and CEO, Shockoe Institute; Dr. Megan Shockley, Shockoe Institute. More to come!

**Date:** Wednesday, April 29\. Doors open at 5 p.m., program runs from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

**Location:** The Shockoe Institute at Main Street Station. 

**Tickets:** A $5 ticket includes admission and refreshments. Due to venue size, ticket availability will be limited.
